Some Summer Fun
We are looking at having a summer get together, just wondering if anyone would be interested in coming. It would be either the weekend before the fourth of July or the weekend after the fourth. So June 28 or July 12. Either one works for us, we were thinking everyone bring a dish to pass, we will have two grills to cook your meat LOL and then fireworks. Also a bonfire or two and we also have our hot tub clothing opptional of course. We have a big back yard fenced in and if you would want could bring a tent to crash in. what does everyone think? We will only set this up if we have enough interest. We live out in the county so there is privacy.OK WE ARE PLANING THIS FOR AS WE SAID FOR THE 12TH OF JULY WE ARE LOOKING AT GETTING A DJ FRIEND OF UORS FOR THE NIGHT WE HAVE ROOM FOR TENTS AND A FUE CAMPERS THIS WILL BE A VARY GOOD TIME FOR ALL IT WILL START AT 12:00 NOON AND GO TILL WHENEVER.WE HAVE 3 GRILLS GOING HOT TUB AND GOOD FIREWORKS AT DUSK THIS WILL BE A PRIVATE EVENTIF YOU WOULD LIKE TO COME TO THIS EVENT PLEASE LET US KNOW WE ARE PUTTING A LIST TOGETHER THANKS JESS AND EDDIE

I have drill the 11-13th of July.  But hey, i'll be 'campin' out too, just no tents. Pray for no rain! Otherwise i'd have thought about going. Hope ya'll have fun!

hello for those who like camping we will have room for 6 to 8 campers and about 10 tents so let us know if your planing on camping that night we can get the land that is across the street from us to so com on lets party and have some fun jess and eddie

If you are a couple and would like to come just send us an email and then we will get you complete details about the location and what to bring. Ok, we wanted to update everyone on the party. We WON'T be having it on the 12th as we wanted too due to lack of interest. We only had four couples say yes to coming and then three maybe answers so we decided it just wouldn't be worth having at this time. Sorry for all those who said yes, we were just hoping for a bigger turnout. We will try hosting something again in the future maybe after summer is over and everyones busy days kind of slow down. We understand that summer is tough because everyone wants to enjoy the weather when possible. Take it easy

ah sorry to hear that, don't know if we would of came or not. our 30 anniversary is the 8th and we sometimes go up to the up of mich or boundary waters but the price of gas i sure is putting a damper on things for everyone and i we are getting kinda camped out anyway lol...too much fishing. we will be watching to see what happens on the campout party and we might bring our popup... havent met any of u folks yet lol have a good 4 of july ...c n k

So what's wrong with a smaller scale party. I would have loved to come. I have noticed the change in attendance over the last year. People are turning a bit more to the talk and less action attitude. What they don't understand is that it takes a lot of work to put together a party and if no one is positively willing to commit why should we go to all the work. Takes the fun out of it not only for the people who are willing to throw the parties but even the people who like to follow the groups. If you know everyone is more talk than action why bother to even check in.
