It has been quite some time that I put my musing and thoughts down. Thus, this blog will be just that....so excuse my rants, ramblings, and musings.
1. I have noticed the ratio to males to females on AdultFriendFinder is getting worse. The marketing team of AdultFriendFinder is really trying hard to market this site as a "sex" site that caters to No Strings Attached sex. Thus, new members, both non paying and paying members, think they are going to find a NSA. Not realizing that the females they think are winking and emailing them are really bots! They become delusioned and hostile when they find out that most females and couples on here are not receptive to their flirts. They think just having cock pictures will do their talking. We, my girlfriend and I, laugh out loud. We find most males on here shallow, callous, and immature, which make them very unattractive. AdultFriendFinder doesn't care because they understand male psychology and sexual motivation....and because they do understand.....they will continue to make lots of money!
2. I have noticed there as been lots of people reading my blog posts, but few people are replying or commenting. I am happy they do come by and check me out. I do wish those ghosts viewers comment though. I like feedback. I think feedback helps me grow as a blogger.
3. Why are you here on AdultFriendFinder. I, the male half of this profile and blog, originally joined because I was lonely and I was looking for connection. I found one person on here who helped me develop my blog and gave me encouragement. I did not expect to find sexual partners. But, on the other hand, I have met some wonderful people on here.
4. What are you plans for Thanksgiving? I plan to host my family for Thanksgiving. Lots of food, drink, and family!

What makes me afraid? I am afraid of many things- some based on factual and tangible things, while others seem to be based on the internal self-talk, the negative image of myself, catastrophizing, or how other ’s may perceive me. The fear of the real and tangible is the norm (it’s rational). Being afraid of tornadoes, hurricanes, imminent danger, and illnesses is commonplace. The fear of my own thinking and perceptions, I know is a natural human behavior, but I can’t rationally explain it away- my mind, or I should say, my negative thinking gets in the way. It haunts me, taunts me, causes me to become indecisive and unable to change. I know that fear is our mind and body’s ancient, hardwired response to every perceived threat, no matter how subtle.
I am afraid of being failure. I fear not being a good father. I am terrified I am not good enough. I fear of being a terrible lover. I am deathly afraid of heights. I want to have sex with another man, but I am petrified of doing this. I know I can use mindfulness, gratefulness, positive thinking and affirmations to change how I perceive myself, change my thinking, thus it can change how I feel. And for the most part these coping mechanisms and tools do help for the most part, but my deep ingrained fears, I found I need help from another person to hold my hand and encourage me to help me overcome my timid and panicky thoughts. I have noticed the more I talk about my fears with people I trust or the more I have internal conversations with myself, it helps me overcome them. What are you afraid of?
