Being on here since 2003, doubt the new member Ambassador welcome messages were being sent then... Created another new account on ALT recently and got about two dozen of them over the first 3-5 days. Totally pointless, random and really only for naive standard members to encourage them to upgrade so they will be able to read them. Marketing gimmick... LOL

I was flirted with 10 months ago, sent a message, said hey then filed the message away. Six months later in October I received a reply. At first, did not catch that it said from an ambassador across the top of the first message because I read it on the mobile site.

We started an on and off conversation that was kind of pleasant at first but just didn't feel quite right and too good to be true. Some messages seemed a little too copy and paste...

Hmmm? So Search Google for image in Chrome and Tineye search of profile photos (which I should have done after the flirt) revealed some were stolen from an Instagram model. This in turn linked to news sources about a law suit the model filed against another online dating site where her photos had been stolen and used by a catfisher. Her photos had been made public because the male victim of the catfisher committed suicide and the story made the news. The grounds of the law suit were that the online dating site had allowed her copyrighted photos to be used without her permission. I believe she won the suit or settled if I recall...

I am NOT suggesting this member is a catfisher or the same one in the news stories. This Ambassador is an active AdultFriendFinder Gold member since 2014 and may have been verified at some point. Just because they are, doesn't mean they are truly vetted or should be trusted as Ambassadors of AdultFriendFinder or any of their affiliate sites... Stay on your toes ladies and gentlemen...

The profile photo abuse was reported to AdultFriendFinder with links several times but they have yet to remove the photos or deactivate the members account.
