He Craved Her Gentle Touch... I don't write a 'Regular Blog'. I post, 'easy reading' , simple, erotic stories. However, what if, I were to share deeper personal thoughts and ramblings, about random themes with you? What would my blog resemble? It's been almost 4 months now since I got on 'A F F' , chose my user name, and pressed 'enter' . I had no idea what I was doing. I was intrigued, as this site just seemed to 'smell' of the thick scent of musky sex - sort of like what your bedroom might smell like, the morning after , while your lover still slept, next to you. It looked alluring and risky and some people walked around naked and that was exciting and cool. I started this blog, posted stories, and I began 'watching' other bloggers. I noticed that although some blogs may have seemed simple enough on the surface, many bloggers shared subtle, intimate details of their lives, including the heartbreak and sadness that they'd suffered, and broken promises they'd endured. Others shared concerns they had, about where their lives were heading, and about their jobs and their families. Regardless of what they wrote about, they all shared their thoughts and musings with this huge, curmudgeon data base of naked and half naked 'friends' and 'watchers', for one reason ; they wanted to touch them, and they wanted to be touched , by the right people, of course! Today , I accidentally stumbled upon a blog post, from 20. The blogger, a woman in her early 50's, had been diagnosed with level four, terminal bone cancer. All treatment had been abandoned and she was waiting. I read her very... last.. post , where she spoke of never getting the chance to watch her two daughters graduate, or get married or to see her grand . She explained, how sad it was that she was leaving this earth, before her parents. She spoke about her life and how it was ending too soon. I was compelled to read her other previous posts. I wanted to get to know this person. I could barely see anything, as tears blurred my vision and emotions choked my throat as I thought of my own, two daughters. She was a real person, her name was Debbie , and she died in 20.  I might one day, be one of those people who feel open and comfortable enough to be able to share something worthy, and personal with you. Instead.... for now... I'll be the guy by the lake, sipping those frivolous frozen Jello vodka slushies , with an empty, welcoming chair, next to him, stringing and shaping random words together, and I'll be pretending that this is just a 'sex hookup site' . Perhaps that's all this site is - but today , as I reflect, it seems more than that. I'll probably title this blog in a suitably misleading fashion and include a random naked picture of some sort, because, I am shallow and I'd like a few 'views' on this blog post ... Yep... ....................................................................................... Do you think this site is more than a trivial sex hook up sex site? What about your own blog... Do you share your personal thoughts or do you keep it trivial and more impersonal ? I don't know if I will be posting another blog post like this, very soon. I visited this woman's blog by accident and I was touched. But I've also been touched by what I read from the blogs I frequent. This place is more than just a sex, hook up site... But, with all due respect.... Paul, great blog this morning you know that's so sad about Debbie loosing her life, you know I have lost four friends here in the past few years due to CANCER they were terrific ladies its sad and it definitely puts our lives in perspective. Do you think this site is more than a trivial sex hook up sex site? I do think its more and it can be a great place as I have matched up a few couples here and they are now happily married. Do you think it is ONLY a sex hook up site? I think some of the men here believe join today get laid tonight but it doesn't always happen that way. Or is it somewhere in between? I think if members take their time and get to know each other without rushing wonderful relationships can be had. And this one I speak from wonderful experiences I have had here..  What about your own blog... Do you share your personal thoughts or do you keep it trivial and more impersonal ? I do share personal thoughts about myself and my life as I am very careful though as we all should be..  Is this a guy OR a girl thing? I think it could be both honestly as I see more ladies just wanting a quick hookup too, but I have also seen a rise in scammers. Are y'all shy or something, or just afraid to speak up? Oh HELL NO I am not afraid to speak my mind..  Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

In my minds eye it has always been more than a sex site . i've never thought of it as such. but i'm not one to visit the chat rooms much.....in there i see the guys seeing a.f.f. as only a hook up place with no thought to it being real people here. on the blogs , more people come to free their thoughts with a mix of fantasy stories or real life stories......I have a blog friend who lives in the sahara desert, he blogs only from may to sept...for yrs,yrs we chat throu out ourblogs he is 86 yrs old and well this is his 2nd summer he has not appeared,so i worry,he might of passed but I guess I'll never know.

For me it definitely is more than a trivial sex site as evidenced by my own blog and by the men I have met And then the men that join- a huge percentage are hung on a quick lay bender ( I think it's part of male DNA ,)which is no good to any one if you dont take time to know the other person in some aspect. Take the time and even if it's FWB of NSA the sexual aspects/contact can be heightenedI only keep my mouth shut when what I want to say can hurt someone. I try not to finger point but sometimes it cant be helped( you werent here for the WAR) I've never venture into these chat rooms anymore. Despite how this site is promoted as a quick and trivial hook up site, it's whatever individual members want it to be. There's no right or wrong, it's highly individualized regardless whether you are a paid member or not. The same thing applies to the blogs. Some use it to post about their daily thoughts and musings, almost like a diary. While others post hightly erotic and titillating stories based on their fantasies sprinkled with real encounters or just cut and paste naked pics from the internet. It's not gender specific. And yes, sometimes, you will come across very personal and sad stories. There are many lonely people who are simply looking to share and get some support and care in return. Continue to use this site as is comfortable for you.

It is definitely more than just a sex/hook up site. I'm here again for the blogging, though it is definitely different than it was in 2008. There were more bloggers and fewer who posted only naked photos every day. Lots of fascinating things to read. One of my favorite bloggers mused once that it would be nice if everyone here was required to blog, so you could find out a little more about them before ever reaching out. I kind of think that is a brilliant idea.I love the little bits we find out about each other through posts and comments...even when we are "anonymous" to one another. I think that people's personalities come through, no matter what they are writing about. It's all very interesting. I'm really glad you found your way here. Great post. This site is anything you make of it. Over the years I have made some great friends in blogland. I have also meet some awesome people from the site as well. It is more then just a sex hookup site. One couple I meet are now married in real life. They found true love. Hugs V Become a blog watcher sweet_vm

My blog has evolved. Early on I did post erotic stories, but after a few years my fantasy well ran dry, haha. Probably coinciding with changes in libido/sex drive that have gradually occurred over the years... Anyway, try being vulnerable now and then - you don’t have to always hide behind your Jell-O shots, sir.

I'm pretty sure the changed libido isn't temporary...but I'm a lot more OK with it than I thought I'd be. Maybe a topic for a blog post some day rather than replying at length here
