A Halloween nightmare!

A Halloween nightmare! I had this drink in my hand as I sat at the bar. It was halloween night a spooky feeling came over me. A cold chill touched my skin crawled all over me. All of a sudden my head dropped to the bar table where I sat. I felt my head slam against a cold hard surface. I had one too many. But I didn't care. I had lost the love of my life. So here I am passed out drunk my head down on a bar table. I finally wake up some guy shaking my arm. Wake up, wake up, he said! I somehow manage to wake up confused dizzy. Let me get you a taxi home, he said. I shook my head yes, mumbling. He helped me up got me out of the bar and into a taxi. What's your address, he asked? I tell him. He tells the taxi driver, or at least that's what I thought he did. But that's not where I ended up. That's not what happened. I was still drunk. In and out of consciousness. Drifting in and out of where I was and where I was being taken. Soon the taxi cab door opened and I felt someone pull me out of the cab. I was still pretty out of it. Didn't know where I was. Two men carried me into a dark cold damp building. It smelled like concrete and brick walls were surrounding me. The men weren't rough with me. But not gentle either. Like they had a job to do and they were just doing it. Finally they sat me up against a wall. It was dark cold and damp, like I said; with the smell of concrete and brick. I felt this needle go into my arm. They shot me up! I heard this moaning like there was someone else there. Maybe another person. I don't know! They left slamming a heavy door behind them. I blacked out. At some point in time I started to wake up. I thought I was dreaming. No a nightmare!! I had been kidnapped and thrown into a dark cold damp room; with maybe other people there! I was still drifting in and out of consciousness. Confused cold thristy. My mouth was dry. I needed some water. I felt so thirsty! So I started coming to again. The men were back. They were dragging another person out the door; a woman. I called out water! One of the men came over to me. Got down on his knees and gave me a sip of water. He put down a bottle of water next to me. I quickly grabbed the bottle of water and drink it down in what seemed like seconds! Coughing and choking from drinking so quickly I try to yell out where am I! But all I felt was another needle in my arm. As I drifted off into unconsciousness again. I don't know how long it was but at some point I started to wake up again. There was this bright light and voices that said, bring that one next! As I saw these men drag a woman back into the room. I felt them grab me and another needle went into my arm. I was unconscious again. Again how much time had passed I don't know! All that I felt was drifting in and out of consciousness. Confusion not knowing what was happening to me. Where I was or what they were doing! Who were they? What do they want? I started to wake up again but this time I felt this pain in my side! It was excruciating! I started feeling nauseous and my head was spinning. I passed out from the pain. Next thing I knew I was in the back of some kind of vehicle. Driving me somewhere. I felt them grab me and throw me into what felt like a hole in the ground. Then dirt being thrown over me to bury me alive. And all the while there was this unbearable pain in my side. Barely I kept conscious! I started to suffocate. I couldn't breathe. I panic; digging for my life. Just reaching up trying to find a breath of air! But I was suffocating! I was dying! But then the dirt cleared away! And someone pulled me out of the ground. But again I passed out from the pain! Next thing I knew I was in a hospital bed. It was a few days later that I finally regained consciousness. One of the nurses told me that a detective wanted to speak to me. I yelled out what happened to me! The nurse looked at me with the saddest eyes I've ever seen in my life and said, you had been kidnapped to harvest your organs for the black market. My heart sank tears welled up in my eyes I broke out sobbing, the nurse held me in her arms and said, you are safe now, sweetheart. So I spoke with the detective, but I told him I know nothing. It was all a blur. They kept me drugged. Then the doctor came in to talk to me. I cried out what the hell happened to me! He said, they tried to harvest your organs for the black market. They wanted your liver, but they didn't take it. Why?! Probably because it wasn't in very good shape. They probably thought they couldn't get a buyer. The doctor asked me how long and how much alcohol do I drink. I told him I was an alcoholic. The doctor said, you are lucky to be alive! I know that the condition of your liver saved your life. But you need to stop drinking alcohol. I said, I know . . .  |
