Trump signed an executive order to address family separation at the border. His order maintains the administration's zero tolerance immigration policy. Families will be detained together where appropriate and consistent with US law and available resources.

US law allows detainment of immigrant families together for only 20 days, it does not address what will happen to these families after the 20 day limit. Jeff Sessions will need to file a modification request with the federal courts to allow the government to detain alien families together throughout the pendency of criminal proceedings.

It does not address already separated and taken from their parents. Government agencies are caring for over 2000 , who were separated from their parents.

Although it is an important step towards resolution of Trump's cruel and inhumane policies, it remains to be seen whether no more separation of families will truly occur. The order did not completely resolved the family separation crisis at the border, which is why some are skeptical about what will happen next.

Again you confuse the issue. Over 2300 children have been separated from their parents that is a fact! This is cruel and inhumane treatment of children simple as that. Unless you are some kind of monster then you feel the same way that I do. Do you think it is Humane to treat children in this way separate them from their parents?

 I think he only did that to passify his wife honestly and some of the stars like Peter Fonda stepped up and commented in which im so glad, many more stars are standing up to the POTUS and telling him enough already. These children need to be reunited with their parents as soon as possible.

Yes Obama did it as well as Bush. Again you confuse the issue. The issue here is inhumane treatment of children. It is simply that it has been brought more to the attention of the American people. And it is now the something needs to be done about it.
