Hello Joy sweetie! First your don't look average at all, you have done a very good job of taking care of yourself!  I don't think I am average for being 71 my lady friend sure thinks I look good! I think what I have done with my life and work is above average. At work I didn't want to be just a maintenance man I wanted to be the best I could be and I think I did that and then some! Butch

Interesting blog today my friend, see I don't mind being just your average every day run of the mill nana here as the men seem to enjoy that about me. I don't like to be anything else than just myself as my life isn't about impressing anyone, as there are enough people around in my life that think they are all that and ten bags of chips..lol.. I do appreciate what you said, and I know you have always strived to be above average and good for you my friend.. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day..  Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

We've know for almost 300 years (since the original "Beauty and the Beast" was published) that beauty (average or otherwise) is very much in the eye of the beholder. In STEM, that's known as a "qualitative" opinion and, well, to each his own. Not to defend your sniping correspondent, but as our current ministry of disinformation states, "If you believe it, it's not a lie." That said, like all facts, analytical facts are *stubborn things*. Sadly, the facts confirm that the majority of North Americans of our age group are overweight and a depressing portion of them are clinically obese. Moreover, the data (analytical facts) confirm that not only are you *above average*, but you are outperforming in a *superlative* way (my qualitative judgment of quantitative data!). I hope we've turned this misguided, inaccurate and inappropriate comment into a validation that you have achieved an even greater result than you might otherwise have appreciated.

I have a distinct problem with two words: average and issue Folks vocabulary has deteriorated to the point where what's on topic is barely discussed so people resort to "euphemisms" instead of clearly worded reply/sentence/thought. I am right with you- I am who I am and I am NOT average. I do not have "issues" I have some temporary problems.
